Hoboken may be the fourth most densely populated city in the country, but it has plenty of beautiful parks and open space within its one square mile. Explore scenic waterfront parks with breathtaking views of Manhattan, or take a stroll and discover parks of all sizes tucked within the city.

Columbus Park

On Clinton St. Btw 9th &10th St.
A great place to go with friends or family and offers a variety of activities including basketball, multiple playgrounds, and tennis courts.

Pier A Park

100 Sinatra Dr.
A big grassy area with a walkway around it with a view that’s second to none of the NYC sky line. Often used for many kid friendly activities including movie nights.

Waterfront Bikeway/Walkway

The river front walking path created along the Hudson River is an outstanding place to spend time walking, jogging or biking with magnificent view of Manhattan skyscrapers.

New Resiliency Park

At 7th and Jackson Street. The new park features playground equipment, open lawn space, a new gymnasium, and infrastructure to capture over 450,000 gallons of rainwater to reduce flooding.

Southwest Park

Downtown on Jackson Street the park features a dog run, an outdoor amphitheater and plenty of passive space. Also designed to capture hundreds of thousands of rainwater to reduce flooding.

Pier C Park

On Sinatra Drive near 4th St. Plenty of fun things to do including a fishing pier, play area, a water play area, rookery – (for the birds), and promenade.

Shipyard Dog Park

A fully fenced play area for all dogs to enjoy. It’s kept immaculately clean and well-stocked with poop bags. Visitors to this park space praise its glorious views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.

Sinatra Soccer Field

This incredible soccer field at 525 Sinatra Drive is located along the river with an outstanding view of the NYC skyline. It’s not only a terrific field for Hoboken residents of all ages but is also used for international tournaments.

Church Square Park

Fun park to come with the family or friends. It has multiple dog parks, playgrounds, swing sets and more. In the summer they even have sprinklers for the kids.
